Emma Maclean led the design and project management for the Berkeley office redesign and relocation at Edinburgh Tower in Landmark in Central, Hong Kong while employed at HBA. This project was over 2,000 square feet and based on the concept of the Manor House. The design include several interesting features like the "secret library door" to access the back of house, a private whiskey bar and entertainment pantry. All furniture items were hand detailed and crafted by bespoke furniture makers. The private whiskey bar was included in the lounge area, concealed behind pocket doors, this added an element of surprise when unveiled to the clients. The whiskey bar itself was designed with afoldig serving table and feature cut glass mirror back wall. All surfaces throughout the space were heavily detailed using timber moldings and upholstered leather panels with metal inlays to add linear elements into the design language. The meeting room was designed to be functional with an understated elegance. The custom solid walnut boardroom table was designed with inset metal details to complement the architectural design language.
